We discussed about children’s rights and we chose to make a poster for the right: “Protection from violence”. Also, this poster was one of the paintings for Human rights calendar for 2019.
We welcome refugee students to our school and made breakfast for them. Then we discussed all together in order to know each other and feel comfortable.
December 2018: The 4th class prepared and presented the children" s rights to all the students of our school and to the parents:
Our school's parents association made calendars for 2019. Every class made a painting related to the human rights for the calendar. The 4th, made this beautiful tree of rights:
November 2018: ARSIS came to our school, 1st Experimental school of Thessaloniki, and in the 4th class we learned about the childen's rights.Then we made posters:
Before Christmas students of the 4th class made christmas cards for the refugee children who came to our school. We also gave them books as presents for the holidays.
The students of the 6th grade celebrated the Child Rights Day by drawing musical instrument and making a big poster with the kids rights.
Because music is a universal mean that brings people together and we sang all together to prove it.
